Valuation Experience and Qualifications
Collectively, our valuation team has had many years of experience in providing professional advice for the valuation of land, buildings, plant and machinery assets throughout South Africa and the rest of Africa.
Our staff members hold various corporate memberships; inter alia:
- The South African Council for the Property Valuers Profession (SACPVP)Under the Property Valuers Profession Act 2000 (Act No. 47 of 2000) all valuers need to be registered with the SACPVP, the statutory regulatory body.
- The South African Institute of Valuers (SAIV)
- The Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS)
In addition, staff members hold various commercial and technical qualifications which include Bachelor of Commerce degrees and Valuation Diplomas.
Where international and regional valuation work is concerned, the guidelines of the International Valuation Standards Committee are fully considered.
Industry specific teams are structured for each instruction to optimise relevant experience.
We employ the services of South Africa's only two plant and machinery valuers, who are qualified by examination with the RICS (the world's leading valuation qualification).
